5/3/08 First Race a Success
In the warm-ups the crew and I were just trying to get used to the car. We went out
and were very slow. In the heat race we started next to last and finished last but we
survived and made it to the feature. In the feature we started 18th out of 24 cars.
We were a little nervous starting up that far in the field our first night out but it
proved to work out we ended up finishing 9th our first night out.

In the heat we started eighth and finished eighth. The car was tight the whole race.
During the time period between the heat and the feature we changed a whole bunch
of stuff and in the feature we started 18th and finished 20th. The crew and I both
thought it was the most embarrassing race the 45B has ever been in 4 years. We
really let the rookie show in our LLM team both the crew and I were really bad this
week and we hope next week will be a little better.

5/26/08 Second Race Not a Success
6/1/08 Getting Better
In the heat we started on the pole and the car was terrible tight and we fell straight
to last place which is where we finished. In the feature we started twenty second and
within the first five laps we were in thirteenth place the car was hooked and we were
ready to race, but then it was like someone flicked a switch and the car went back to
being terrible tight and we fell to fifteenth which is where we finished. The crew has
some ideas for next week and we are ready to go once again.

6/11/08 First Wreck
In the heat we started in fourth and ran there for most of the race before being
passed by John Hedge which resulted in us finishing fifth. In the feature we started
15th and on the fourth turn of the first lap someone spun out in front of us and I
swerved to miss him and almost did but unfortunately the racer caught my back
wheel causing me to spin and then we found out that there was about 1500 dollars
worth of damage.
